Good food. The sea bass with gnocchi was good. Very busy, would recommend making a booking. Loads of parking in front and close by. Market place or the centre is walking distance
The place is beautiful — we went there today and, since the weather was nice, we decided to eat outside. It was a great decision! The restaurant is truly lovely, the staff are really kind, and the food even more so. We ate incredibly well!
The main course and flatbread was really good but the soup could have been a bit better. Adele , our host is a gem. One of the best and friendly host I came across after a long time. She deserves a 5* rating and hence we gave a decent tip as well. It was busy on a Sunday evening and quite lively.
Came here for dinner tonight with our family and it was perfect! Our host was really friendly and funny, and he was really attentive to us. He recommended dishes and was polite and genuine when talking to us. The food was spot on; we had a real variety of main courses (linguine, soup, pork, salmon, Korean chicken) and 4 desserts between us. Atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed, and the decor was great. It was such a good evening. Would definitely recommend to everyone!
A fantastic place next to the river and pay and display car parks. Lots of seating inside and some tables outside. But I recommend you book as it was very busy, on a Saturday evening, we just managed to book a table in the dog friendly part at 8pm, that's booking the 2 days prior. Great food, very large portions. I had asparagus & pea risotto with coats cheese and it was delicious. My partner had vegan sausage and mash with vegan gravy and loved it. Definitely worth a visit. Next time we'll try the pizza's and a dessert.
I visited The Woodyard for the first time today with my Gran who is quite a fussy eater. There was lots of options on the menu catering to all needs including Vegan and allergies. They had a Sunday menu for roast dinner with a smaller option for OAPs/Kids. I had the sweet & spicy chicken burger which was amazing. It came with onion rings which were the best I’ve ever tasted. The place was warm, welcoming and the staff were super friendly. I will definitely be visiting again and recommending to other people.
Delicious risotto and beautiful setting. Excellent service. Food could just have been a bit hotter with fresh black pepper. Tables inside looked very comfortable. Good range of cocktails.
We came here to celebrate our engagement, as I had proposed earlier that day. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent, and as I had mentioned the engagement upon booking, they went the extra mile to decorate the table and offered us a complimentary glass of prosecco on arrival! To add to that both the food we had for mains and dessert was superb. Thank you again for such a nice evening to put the cherry on the top of a fantastic day.
